After the Sportling success DRACO developed a smaller version of the DC concept. Jan Herman Linge who designed the Sportling accused Kaare Drangsholt for plagiating his Sportling design. Actually the 1700 is quite different from the 2000. And after a couple of lawsuits the two gentlemen agreed that the 1700 was based on Linge design.
